Using SummerCart64
SummerCart64 is a brand new relatively cheap open source flashcart that supports 64DD games without the need of converting them to a cartridge format.
This means all 64DD disk images can work on it without any hacks required. It does as much as the EverDrive 64 X7 and even a bit more for cheaper.
As of this writing (2026-04-28), these flashcarts are mass produced on AliExpress, sometimes in a way that I don’t necessarily find ethical (such as including a SD card filled with ROMs) and neither does the team behind this project. Watch what you buy, it can be cheap, possibly that they might cheap out too much.
So please know what you’re doing and do your research first, and please don’t blame the developers if something is wrong with the cartridge you bought. This is an open source project, anyone can do anything including doing changes not recommended by the developers.
You can find more information about SummerCart64 on its website, including a recommended store (not affiliated). You can also find links in the How To Play page on the 64DD.org website.

sc64menu.n64to the microSD card via USB by just doingsc64deployer sd upload <path to sc64menu.n64>on the terminal.
